This is a poem that is over a decade old, written for International Women’s Day at West Hill United Church. I recorded it this morning and share it, unedited. One day, it will be included in the collection of poetry - Focused Moments, as they were known - accompanied by my partner, Scott Kearns’ music. But today it is raw, no edits, just the poem. I hope you find meaning in one or more of the “Some woman somewhere’s”.
