It is the only thing that helps, sometimes, that fervent believing in what others might offer, what we can still do, how the world will still unfold, gently welcoming whatever it is we might be able to manage. Thank you, Katharine.

This really resonated with me . I feel so grateful to have lived when I did, and so sorry, but hopeful, for the world my descendants will face. Thanks gretta❣️

Thank you, Janis. We often feel climate grief alone, afraid that those around us feel differently. I believe it is the most dangerous reality of what we are facing, that fear of being judged, of starting an argument, of offending someone. It allows "normal", which is so far out of what human civilization has ever been, to still be considered normal. Finding ways to hold our grief out to one another is something we have always struggled to do, but it is a crucial piece of creating the change we might yet undertake. ❤️

If not communal, there is no future... at least not with "us" in it...So true. Thanks for sharing! Tom

Thank you for your note, Tom. We so need one another, community, the "being with" that helps us know who we truly are.
