I think i have no words to say how grateful I am for you and for your being on this earth with us. How sorry I am for your burden and how thankful I am that you are finding ways to heal.
You are part of my story and I of yours. I’ve known my own personal darkness, my own personal wish and desire of one less heart beat. These blog posts allowed me to see that although our journeys are different, we are only an outstretched hand away from each other. We haven’t been able to see one another but with the outstretched hand, your blogs have allowed me to reach back. Your hand out for mine and mine for yours reminds me I’m not alone. In this our time of need with abundant blessings, I give thanks.
Weaving our stories together is a rich and beautiful metaphor. Thank you for that. And the outstretched hand ... is that not a metaphor for how we all managed to survive the isolations and imposed distances over these past years of virus? May we always have the courage to reach out to one another. I know that those who have the instincts to do so are often those who lead us back to ourselves. Be well, Donna.
